With 8x magnification and 25mm objective lenses, they provide a field of view of about 357 ft at 1,000 yards, making it easier to scan and track movement across distance. The optical system is built with fully multi-coated lenses and BaK4 prisms to improve clarity and light transmission, producing a bright, sharp image in most daytime conditions.

Designed for real-world use, the Standard Issue features a rubber-armored, grippy housing that feels secure in hand and holds up to outdoor wear. The compact frame keeps weight low (around 11–12 oz), making them easy to pack for surf trips, hikes, or daily carry without bulk.
